Our team updates this wiki in tandem with in-game updates, ensuring that all information remains accurate and relevant. You can always check when a page was last edited and who contributed, giving full transparency to ongoing changes.

Quests

Quests are a core gameplay feature that provide players with a rotating selection of tasks to complete every 24 hours. Designed to bring variety and challenge to daily play, quests encourage players to engage in different activities across the server. There are three difficulty tiers: Easy, Medium, and Hard, each offering tasks of increasing complexity. Easy quests are quick and simple, while Hard quests may require more time, skill, or specific conditions to complete. As the difficulty rises, so do the rewards, with higher-tier quests granting more valuable and desirable items. This system ensures that all players, whether casual or competitive, have meaningful goals to pursue each day.

Claiming Quests

To prevent quests from being lost due to the daily reset, quests are automatically claimed as soon as they're completed. This ensures you never miss out on your rewards, even if you forget to claim them manually. As you work on a quest, you’ll receive real-time updates on your progress. When you make progress, a message will appear showing the quest name on the action bar indicating your current progress. Once the quest is fully completed, you’ll hear a distinct sound and receive a chat message confirming the completion, along with the details of your earned rewards.

Quests can be completed once per day. A timer displayed at the bottom of each quest item shows how much time remains until the next reset. When new quests become available, you'll receive a chat notification letting you know they're ready to complete.

The quests menu can be accessed through the /Quests command, or through the profile menu.

Badges

Badges are a custom achievement system that replaces the standard vanilla advancements. Designed to provide players with long-term goals and meaningful rewards, badges are based on player statistics and progression milestones. Each Standard Badge consists of five stages, with increasing requirements and escalating rewards, encouraging consistent effort across various gameplay activities.
 
In addition, players can also earn Secret Badges, a mysterious category of one-stage achievements that remain hidden until unlocked. Their requirements are completely unknown, only revealed when a player stumbles upon them through rare or unexpected actions. Secret Badges reward curiosity, experimentation, and off-the-beaten-path gameplay, offering a satisfying surprise for the most observant or adventurous players. 
 
Limited Badges are exclusive, one-time achievements tied to special events, seasonal challenges, or major updates. These badges are only available for a short, predefined period, after which they become permanently unobtainable. They do not grant stars or affect progression, but they offer significant bragging rights for those who manage to earn them during their active window.

Claiming Badges

When you complete, or reach a new stage of a badge you’ll be notified immediately with a chat message that tells you the badge name and the stage you've achieved. Alongside this message, a unique sound plays to mark the accomplishment. 

After receiving the notification, you can navigate to the Badges Menu to claim your rewards and view your progress. Claiming a reward will also unlock the next stage of that badge (if applicable), allowing you to continue your journey toward mastery.

Survival Island was created from the remnants of Aero Survival, a beloved project that came to an abrupt close in 2022. Rather than letting its legacy fade, we saw an opportunity to rebuild and reimagine- taking what was left of the original codebase and transforming it into something entirely new. With fresh vision, custom textures, and innovative features, Survival Island is more than just a revival- it’s a complete evolution. This server is a true passion project, developed by a small but dedicated team committed to delivering a unique and player-first experience. Our goal is simple: create a Minecraft server that prioritizes creativity, community, and gameplay over monetization. We believe players should feel at home in an environment built with care and integrity. Not pressured by paywalls or gimmicks.

Unipotatoo is the driving force behind Survival Island; the visionary, strategist, and cornerstone of our entire operation. At the core of Survival Island’s operations is REDACTED, our dedicated Systems Administrator. For over a year, REDACTED has generously kept the server running at no cost to the team, providing the backbone that makes everything else possible. His unwavering support has allowed us to develop the server without the typical pressures of time or budget constraints, giving us the freedom to focus entirely on delivering a high-quality, player-first experience. REDACTED’s behind-the-scenes work has been absolutely essential to the success and stability of Survival Island.

ImIllusion
ImIllusion is the technical powerhouse behind some of the most important systems that define Survival Island’s gameplay. As our Lead Developer, he’s crafted core features like Furniture Painting, the Hoarders Menu (yes, you can blame him for the taxes!), and many other behind-the-scenes mechanics that keep the server running smoothly and feeling fresh. His deep understanding of Minecraft's systems and his commitment to quality code have made him an indispensable part of the team. Survival Island simply wouldn’t be the same without his work.

xCubitho
As the Lead Designer for Survival Island, xCubitho is the creative force behind the stunning visual experience our players enjoy every time they log in. With over 180+ custom models under his name, and many more on the way, his work brings the world of Survival Island to life in vivid detail. From intricate items to immersive models, xCubitho’s artistic vision and technical skill have shaped the server’s identity. His dedication, talent, and passion for design are invaluable to the team and a major reason why Survival Island looks and feels truly one of a kind.
