After nearly three years of development and a full year of Closed-Beta testing, we’re proud to announce that Survival-Island will be opening to the public for the very first time on December 19th. This marks the official beginning of the server’s public journey, and we couldn’t be more excited to finally welcome new players onto the island.
Along with the open-beta release the holiday season is here! With it comes the very first seasonal event on the Island.
❄️ Event Schedule
The Christmas Event will begin NOW! This gives our Closed-Beta testers early access to all seasonal content able to jump in, earn rewards, and experience the event before the public launch.
The event will remain active for three weeks, concluding on January 1st.
🎉 Open Beta Schedule
On December 19th, Survival-Island will officially open to the public for the very first time. At that point, anyone will be able to join the server, explore the island, and participate in ongoing events without needing beta access. This date represents a major milestone for the project, transitioning Survival-Island from Closed-Beta into an open, evolving multiplayer experience.
An event countdown has already been created so players can follow along and be notified as the launch approaches.
🍬 Candy Canes
Throughout the Christmas Event, hostile mobs will have a chance to drop Candy Canes, a seasonal material used exclusively during the event. Candy Canes can be traded to Frosty The Snowman for Christmas Furniture Chests.
In addition to mob drops, Candy Canes can also be purchased directly from Frosty The Snowman for 50 gems each.
🎁 Christmas Furniture Chests
Candy Canes can be exchanged for Christmas Furniture Chests, which introduce an entirely new furniture chest type. Unlike standard furniture chests that scale rewards based on rarity, seasonal furniture chests draw from a unified loot pool where every furniture item has an equal chance to appear, regardless of rarity.
Each seasonal furniture chest will always award exactly one furniture piece. This system will be used for all future seasonal furniture chests.
🛍️ Christmas Seasonal Event Pack 2025
For players who want to skip the grind or secure exclusive rewards, the Christmas Seasonal Event Pack 2025 is available on the webstore for $5.99. This pack includes 25 Candy Canes and introduces our very first Limited furniture item: Santa’s Sleigh.
⭐ Limited & Seasonal Rarity
Limited items are only obtainable during a specific event window and will never return once that window has ended. Santa’s Sleigh will only be available during Christmas 2025, making it a true one-time collectible.
Seasonal is a rarity given to items that are exclusively obtainable during a specific timeframe each year. Seasonal items are tied to recurring events, such as Christmas, and while they are only available for a limited period, seasonal items will always return during their respective events in following years.
